Local liquid transport tank company, Trans Tank International TTi has been designing, developing, and manufacturing water trucks in Australia for over 15 years. Its latest line of poly water trucks is available in sizes from litres through to 15, litres. The signature TTi poly tank is rotomolded at its factory in Nathalia, Victoria, using the highest-grade polyethylene powder. TTi says poly tanks are 20 per cent lighter than steel, meaning more water can be transported and they also offer greater flexibility to handle chassis twisting and movement. TTi backs its products with a year factory warranty. The user-friendly hydraulic system is available in different configurations, including an innovative dial-up system, which has been developed from scratch by TTi and a specialist hydraulic firm. It features preventative PTO overspeed and hydraulic pump programming to provide maximum performance even at low engine revs. The design allows it to use just a litre hydraulic oil tank, whereas normal systems require a litre tank, says TTi. Functions such as starting and stopping the motor and activating spray heads or dribble bar are controlled via an ergonomic in-cab controller. In , TTi established a manufacturing facility in the suburb of Sunshine North in Melbourne, Victoria, to produce the new range of water trucks.
