As I mentioned before two weeks ago, the Universe of Dragon Ball has twelve different universes.

A battle royale like no other. Ten warriors from each universe shall engage in epic combat! It also holds the place as being the final arc in Super as of now, due to the series taking an over eight-month break in preparation for Dragon Ball Super: Broly , the series' first movie. Dragon Ball Heroes splits this arc into four phases due to its length — the first is Universe Survival: Prelude , the second is Universe Survival: Gathering , the third is Tournament of Power also the name of the arc as a whole in the manga , and the fourth is Tournament of Power: Climax. Short Summary As life goes on for our heroes, Goku, bored, having no one to train with due to everyone being busy and wanting to push his skills further, goes to the Zen-Os about the promise of conducting a tournament that he mentioned during the Champa arc. The Zenos, likewise bored of their usual games together, agree and start the Tournament of Power where the Earth's top ten strongest fighters will go against fighters from across the universe.

Of all the retarded characters in this series he seems like the only smart one.

The Tournament of Power planned by Zeno begins, with multiple universes partaking—with each universe having gathered a team of 10 fighters who battle alongside each other on a stage. The arc features continuous debuts of elites from each universe. However, this also proves to be the beginning of universal destruction. In the anime, the two Zenos are playing a planet-destroying game at Zeno's Palace. They are at exactly wins and losses, bored, and striving for something else to do. Goku is selling his freshly-cropped vegetables to a trader, exclaiming that they are very popular so he is "excited" about earning money, so Chi-Chi will stop nagging him about working and he can focus on training. While driving away in a Capsule Corporation truck, Goku stumbles upon a person whose truck is stuck on the road. Goku helps him out, however, he was tricked by a band of robbers.

The two Zenos are excited as the Grand Priest makes his entrance on top of the stage's main pillar. Jaco leaves on his spaceship which has the poachers' spaceship attached to it. Goku barely dodges the attacks and destroys the discs with his own blasts, and Krillin charges and fires another blast, intending to push Goku off of the building. Gohan requests Krillin to show him his power to gain a better understanding so that he can come up with a plan for the tournament. Power Nullifier : The nature of the arena nullfies ki-based flight, as shown when Goku attempts to use the technique and nothing happens. Vegeta mocks Frieza for his Halo, and Frieza says he'll give him his own if he wants. Frieza and Android 17 attempt to defeat Top, but his power greatly trumps theirs, and in the end the two are forced to fight defensively against him. While each universe discusses this, Shin asks Grand Minister if every universe which enters will be destroyed if they lose which the Grand Minister confirms. Not all of them are going to fight in this tournament. Yes, things have gotten so bad that Frieza actually has a moment of this. Also, the higher the Rarity of characters from the "Universe Survival Saga" Category, the higher the chance for you to get bonus rewards! Krillin, rattled by what transpired, takes a deep breath and calms himself down, and Gohan makes sure his teammates haven't lost their morale. Now stronger the before, Jiren fights Goku in an intense battle where Jiren manages to overpower Goku for a time, but slowly Goku counters and turns the fight in his favor. Hopefully Vegeta will get a super form of his own when we get a sequel show someday. Goku introduces himself, and 17 says he recognizes his voice due to his programming. Bulma and Vegeta are irritated at Goku for using their son as a bargain to get 17 to agree to the tournament, but relent regardless. Out of Focus : Most of the non-fighters are not focused on at all in this arc, leaving it largely on those present at the tournament. This was also because these two Namekians were also fusions of their entire race, and tried to lay low so they would have time for their bodies to stabilize all of the fusions.
