The modpacks allow players to develop their own talents , abilities and, in the latest edition Vault Hunters 3rd Edition , expertise. It features over 2 billion different items in combination that can be looted inside the mysterious, dangerous and every changing Vaults. These items include powerful armour , weapons, tools and idols totems , that boost the player's different attributes and stats. The end goal of Vault Hunters 2nd Edition was to collect 25 unique artifacts , and forge them together to access the final vault however there is currently no intetnion to implement this in the lastest edition. Vault Hunters can be played in Multiplayer and have several coop elements, including vault running. After many months of development, this version of the modpack was released to the public shortly before the conclusion of season 1 on April 2, ; it is now retroactively known as Vault Hunters Legacy. The Vault Hunters 3 iteration firstly released on the November 27, , and is currently considered to be in open alpha development stage.

When the first trailer for the Borderlands movie dropped, a legion of fans of the iconic video game franchise finally sighed in relief. The project had been stuck in development hell for almost a decade, and many fans were starting to doubt it would ever come out, but it's finally happening — and it looks great! The Borderlands universe is as crazy as it's complex , so let's lay out the basics before anyone gets lost looking for a Vault. A feature film based on the popular video game set on the abandoned fictional planet of Pandora where people search for a mysterious relic. Borderlands takes place in an original fictional universe. There's no Earth, for example, but it has many similarities to our own universe. One of those is the presence of megacorporations that dominate through economic influence, military might, and propaganda. They shape the whole galaxy's political landscape to suit their agendas, and their unchecked greed leads to the exploitation of local resources and labor, perpetuating economic disparities and social inequality anywhere they go.

Between fan favorite Vault Hunters from the Borderlands franchise that deserve to return or popular character archetypes among RPGs in general, the sky is the limit for Borderlands 4.
