I am so disappointed. I have been a customer of Verizon for over 30 years. Today is the first time i needed help but did not get it. I currently live in Germany.
I just had an excellent customer service experience with Gayle from Verizon. She was so kind and sweet and answered all of my questions very quickly. I was told I would receive a survey after our online chat ended. We are excited to hear about your awesome experience and we will forward your kind words. We want to thank you for being a valued part of Verizon and I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend. He spent time helping us with an old iPhone we are adding to our plan. Even though a purchase was not involved, he went above and beyond helping us with removing old data from the phone and getting it back to manufacturer settings.

We switched to Verizon 2 years ago due to the poor and, honestly, nasty customer service at our previous carrier. Verizon was everything I had hoped for - polite, competent and thorough. What happened? My son went to a store on January 2 to find out why his phone would not update - reasonable question. They couldn't figure out the issue so they suggested he call customer service for a replacement phone. He has been on the phone with them every day since - it is now January 13 and the problem is still not resolved. And, they are now charging my account for his free replacement phone. All of the promises and assurances that they were resolving the issue were simply empty. The reps also live in fear of poor ratings and try to get you to ensure them that you will not rate them down. While they say they record calls, the reps refuse to go back and review when requested. My son has received a different answer from everyone he has spoken to.
Not once did any one of the reps take any responsibility and owned their mistakes and only apologized that I had to go through this.
Carrie W Verified User. I am looking at purchasing a 5g mifi mobile Hotspot and was checking the options for my area. I have heard several people complain about frontier and it being u reliable. It seems MidCo is the fastest speed avaliable and that they are beginning to use fiber optics for faster internet speeds. I am leery about the pricing through Verizon as my experience with them has been negative as far as servicing goes even though the customer representative was very kind. I would love to be rid of Verizon for good.

I know some reps can be just plain rude and I know that some of the policies are not fair in the eyes of you the consumers that allow people like me to keep my job and maintain a paycheck. I give Verizon 1 star! She worked the entire time I was there and not once appeared upset. Nevertheless, weeks later, Verizon informed me that one phone was missing and it refused to credit me for the phone. We value your privacy. He was very apologetic.
