To be fair, I believe it's an issue with CVS in general and not just this location. I was notified by email a prescription was ready for me for pick up but I didn't recognize the abbreviated name they send via email. I then called and the automated service gave me the full name. I knew there was an error and this prescription wasn't for me. I then tried to get through to a person in the pharmacy. On my open phone, I'm at 1 hour and 6 minutes now and counting, on hold! I used another phone to call the store manager thinking they might be having a phone issue. He was apologetic but said they have only one pharmacist on duty and one tech. They simply ignore the phone. Pity the poor person who is calling with an emergency question about medication! They close for lunch because they don't have enough staff. In the past few years, several local pharmacies have closed and many of those prescriptions were transferred to this CVS. Once I started looking at all the online comments regarding CVS, I realize it's time to change our pharmacy to one that actually cares. And yes, I am taking the issue of the wrong medication mix up, further up the chain. Those kinds of mistakes can be deadly if one doesn't pay attention.
