Shortly after 10pm that evening, deputies were dispatched to a report of shots fired at Cameron Road. Upon arriving at the scene, deputies found four adult females, two adult males, and one juvenile male had been shot. According to a press release from Sheriff Troy Guidry, all of the gunshot wounds were to the lower extremities of the victims, and none of them were known to be life threatening.
