June 19, , PM turbo. I am looking at a used PPKS at an estate sale. No one knows when or where it was made. The serial number is Can anyone help me to determine what year and where the pistol was made? Also, the gun is in very good condition, what should it be worth?

I know that with the old format for this site there was a sticky done by 'Searcher' some years ago that reported serial numbers with dates indicated on the test targets. That said, the stickies seem to be gone as far as I can tell and my test target has no information on it. There are places for the tester to indicate the caliber, serial number, tester's name and a space for date but the tester failed to fill any of it out. It's blank with the exception of the shots fired.
