Cractus is a character in the Wario franchise. It is a large, drooling Venus flytrap with leaf-like appendages, in spite of its name being a play on " cactus ". Cractus is the second boss in Wario Land 4. It is the guardian of the Emerald Passage. Upon starting the battle, Cractus is sleeping, ignoring Wario's presence. To force it to battle, Wario must simply ram the vase holding it. This will cause Cractus to wake up. To damage Cractus, Wario must ground pound its head. Touching its gaping mouth or spiky arms will damage Wario. Initially, Cractus will position itself extremely low, where Wario can damage it with a simple jump followed by a ground pound. As Cractus is damaged, it will increase the height of its patrols also increasing the range of its attacks and the speed of its attacks.
