Treasure Demons also have a chance of showing up during regular Shadow fights. The other place Treasure Demons show up is in Mementos. Even if players fail to capture any Treasure Demons in a Palace, they can find them wandering through the tunnels of the Mementos area that unlocks after beating that Palace. Every Treasure Demon in Persona 5 Royal will spend two turns groaning and then escape the combat. This is true whether they're alone or whether they're part of a group. Every Demon is strong against Physical and Gun attacks, but they also have a single elemental weakness that players can exploit.
