The two hit it off and after an hour-long phone call, Kiel realised that he had just been hired to design the whole range of merchandise for their Australia and New Zealand, 36 Chambers 25th anniversary tour. We enlisted the help of Zachary Bennett-Brook Saltwater Dreamtime to create some indigenous dot painting to incorporate into one of the Australian designs. For the New Zealand range we connected with Maori artist Rick Pearce to create some traditional artwork for one of the designs. The whole range came together with the help of Jungle Merchandise, who sourced and produced all of the garments and hats. The merch was a huge success and sold out at all venues. The opera house t-shirt sold out on the first night of their 3-night stint; Jungle Merchandise had to madly reprint more of each t-shirt to keep the remaining shows stocked.
