Xcode update stuck
The downloading has two parts; one 1,61 Xcode update stuck, and another part nearly 7,5 GB. I am able to achieve to download the first part almost always some times it has stopped alsobut the second part always stopped.
I have been trying to download Xcode I have tried restarting and redownloading it on my computer, but it keeps getting stuck. Is anyone else having this issue? So I don't think the problem has anything to do with Monterey or the M1 chipset. A reboot of the system had no effect on the problem. Tried uninstalling Xcode worked for me in the past with similar issues with apps installed via the App Store but now the App Store still shows it partly downloaded. Intel-based Big Sur here with same issue.

I am trying to update XCode to It's stuck at "Installing 7. I tried rebooting the mac and and the install is still stuck. I saw a hint that since xcode has a huge number of files that an active virus checker can seriously impede performance. After several failues to complete I 'paused' clamav's sentry function until the install completed. Honestly, I don't that was what did it or my constant attention over a long time.
