Yugioh archetypes
All members of that group of cards must contain a common string the name of yugioh archetypes archetype in their members' Japanese card names. Cards can be part of an existing archetype by listing Archetype condition in its card text, yugioh archetypes.
This is the list of all the archetypes that currently exist in Yugioh. Over the time, it will certainly be easier to simply look here for a specific archetype instead of sifting through the entire blog. The archetypes that I have done an analysis for will have a link to that article attached to the name. If you find a mistake or something is missing, feel free to contact me and I will fix the issue. All members of that group of cards must contain a common string the name of the archetype in their members' Japanese card names. Cards can be part of an existing archetype by listing Archetype condition in its card text. These texts are not Card Effects. The first letter in a name can be either lowercase or uppercase for it to be considered part of an archetype e. Satellarknights are still Tellarknights. But the rest of the name must match in capitalization e. Ruby text is considered by itself for archetype membership e. For archetype names that contain both base text and ruby text in their Japanese name, a card must exactly match both to be a part of that archetype e. In Korean, due to the poorly made typesetters, an archetype name that contains ruby text is formatted uniquely in the card text using parentheses as follows: base text ruby text no space intervening.
Yugioh archetypes
Archetypes are essential to know about, as the construction of a competitive or even a casual deck depends on which type you plan on utilizing. But what are these archetypes, and how many of them exist in Yu-Gi-Oh!? Essentially, Yu-Gi-Oh! Archetypes are the family of cards that a particular one belongs to. Rather, it has to do with regards to which group of cards belong to each other. To see which archetype a card belongs to, look no further to the name, not its attribute.

The main strategy is to overlay enough different monster types in the boss monster, but due to their main playmaker and the boss monster currently being banned, the archetype is literally unplayable. Exodia Decks. Nekroz Decks. Batteryman : Not released yet. The Types and Attributes from monsters supporting the strategy are also all over the place, allowing for some interesting additions to the deck, but bringing less coherence overall.
