The only part that felt off was the onboarding process. Their responses are extremely fast. Responses from their onboarding and leasing department have been prompt. First, it took 11 days between sending applications and getting approved to sign the lease. I'd highly recommend them to friends and family! Moreover, their background screening process is very very weak, they just send details to 3rd party to run background checks and upload their reports in the ZipRent dashboard, they don't review the report thoroughly and decide whether the applicant's previous residence and employment verifications are done properly or not. I hope you will keep up with the integrity of doing business and be able expand your territory out of CA. It is now March 11, I have still not moved into the apartment although I have paid my deposit and first month's rent. The system is the worst type of bureaucracy, meaning the slightest difference in what ziprent has told them to prepare for has the contractor packing up so they can put out a bid for someone else. I have been completely impressed with their support and follow-through.
