If you can help us with this wiki please sign up and help us! Alderheart is a major protagonist in the Warriors book franchise. He is the son of Brambleclaw and Squirrelstar and brother of Sparkpelt , as well as one of the current medicine cats of ThunderClan. He serves as one of the main protagonists of A Vision of Shadows arc, a supporting protagonist in The Broken Code arc and super editions Squirrelflight's Hope and Tigerheart's Shadow , a minor character in the super edition Graystripe's Vow and the novella Pebbleshine's Kits , and the tritagonist of the novella Daisy's Kin. Alderkit is born to Squirrelflight and Bramblestar alongside Sparkkit, Juniperkit and Dandelionkit, however Juniperkit dies soon after being born and Dandelionkit dies two moons later. Jayfeather receives a vision of Alderkit, though doesn't recognize him as the kit is facing away from the group before running off, though Jayfeather sees his white tipped tail and notices he carries the scent of ThunderClan. Moons later, just before their apprentice ceremonies, Alderkit worries if there's an assessment he must take before he can start his training. Sparkkit nudges and asks if he's exited, wondering who her mentor will be. Alderkit wonders too, hoping that it wouldn't be someone stern like Ivypool or Lionblaze. Bramblestar emerges from his den and commences the ceremony, and the small tom thinks about how proud he is to be his son. As they are made apprentices, the newly renamed Sparkpaw is mentored by Cherryfall, and Alderpaw is mentored by Molewhisker. Alderpaw pads over to sit next to his new mentor, not really knowing what to think of Molewhisker, but still hoping to impress him nonetheless. After the ceremony has ended, The two young cat's parents come up to congratulate them, adding that they're sure that they'll both be great warriors.

As he returns her toy, she gives him a thyme plant alderheart remember her by, and after saying their final goodbyes Alderheart departs for the Moonpool. After being forced to train Flipclaw as his apprentice, Alderheart was exiled by the imposter for standing up to him, and he stayed in ShadowClan briefly as a refugee. The ginger leader continues that the Clans must work together or all fall. He talks of how RiverClan withdrew from the Clans, to which Crookedstar argues that they have since rejoined them. He points out that ShadowClan has a young leader who will be wanting to prove his strength, during a time when peace is most needed. Rowanclaw defends his son.

Alderheart is a ThunderClan medicine cat who has served under Bramblestar's , briefly Tigerstar's , the impostor's , Lionblaze's , Graystripe's , and Squirrelstar's leaderships in the lake territories. He was born as Alderkit to Squirrelstar and Brambleclaw, alongside his littermates, Sparkkit , Juniperkit , and Dandelionkit. He was originally apprenticed as Alderpaw to Molewhisker ; however, he later became a medicine cat apprentice with Jayfeather as his mentor.
