Bite mascara
Earlier this year, Bite Beauty launched their very first eye makeup product — Upswing Full-Volume Mascara and after using it for a couple of months, I am now ready to share my verdict. Then please keep on scrolling, bite mascara. My Lashes: bite mascara, semi-lifted; could use some help in the volume department.
Hey guys! Today I have a mascara review for you! Throwing out old mascaras gives me the perfect excuse to pick up a new one! This is a clean and vegan mascara. I prefer a mascara that has that nice balance of length and volume so it sounded right up my alley.
Bite mascara
The dark, soul piercing stare broken only by the soft beating of luscious eye lashes — that natural wing from the perfect curl fanning out towards the tips of perfectly manicured eyebrows. Lashes captivate us. Mascara, not so much. When Bite Beauty sent me one of their first types of Upswing full-volume mascara, I was skeptical to say the least. No doubt they are masters of lip scrubs , liners, glosses and lipsticks alike. Needless to say, it took me weeks before I even bothered to give it a try. The brush has a sort of hourglass shape, which made little sense to me at first. However upon applying the mascara, I found it to be quite useful in grabbing the ends of my lashes while I focused on the center connection of the brush. No clumps. No missed coverage. So how did it last throughout the day? I work an 8am-5pm, and aside from a couple minor wipes in the office bathroom, the mascara was fairly smudge free.

Bite Beauty's cult-favorite Amuse Bouche lipsticks could be found in nearly every purse and makeup bag by Founded by Susanne Langmuir, this popular Canadian beauty brand kicked off in with its collection of high-impact lip products. Langmuir offered a unique line of buttery, highly-pigmented lippies handcrafted using 12 edible — yes, edible — oils, which helped set them apart from competitors. The nourishing ingredients and dimensional color options quickly led to the brand's ascension to cult status among makeup experts and casual wearers alike. In , however, a major rebranding decision would have drastic consequences for the company's reputation, resulting in the eventual decline of Bite Beauty. But, as it turns out, not all Bite Beauty products have disappeared from the shelves. If you're a fellow Bite Beauty fan, you'll be interested to find out what we've dug up. It's easy to understand the reasons behind Bite Beauty's popularity. Looking back on the company's immediate success following its launch in , Bite Beauty checked all the boxes for the criteria of a rising star within the beauty sphere. In the same way that self tanning products have improved by leaps and bounds over the years, clean beauty has really come a long way. In fact, I used to kind of give clean beauty the side eye. For example, eyeshadows were always chalky and most products had little to no color pay off. However, thanks to brands like Bite Beauty, Milk Makeup, Lawless, and even Tarte, clean beauty products are now my absolute go tos. In fact, it has that same full and fluffy hourglass shaped brush that you might have seen on the Too Faced Damn Girl Mascara full review here and the Anastasia Beverly Hills Lash Brag Mascara full review here. Can one mascara really do all of that? And be clean? Full disclosure, I did receive this product complimentary from Influenster in exchange for reviewing it on the Sephora website. However, they do not require a blog post review and all thoughts, opinions, and experiences are my own. Although I love all makeup, mascara is one of my top must have products.

Below is a photo of me wearing Upswing Full-Volume Mascara. Log in now. Results: volumized, separated, defined lashes of a true satin black color. Lashes captivate us. Wear: perfect all-day wear, no flaking or smudging. I would say it is a lot more volumizing, than it is lengthening, so you decide if it is ultimately up your makeup alley or not. No clumps. A perfect in-between texture that gives you enough playtime to layer the product without it flaking off or smudging everywhere. It gives length and most importantly stays curled throughout the day. Sign me up. I am quite cut-throat with mascaras that I do not like and am here to say that Upswing Full-Volume Mascara has passed my quality control test. With a brand-new mascara, you may find sometimes that there is too much product on the brush. I would say it gives a bit of a lift too, but since my lashes are already semi-lifted naturally, I am curious to see what Upswing Full-Volume Mascara can do for more downward-looking or straight lashes.

The brush has more of an asymmetrical hourglass shape, with shorter bristles in the middle and curvier bottom. I prefer a mascara that has that nice balance of length and volume so it sounded right up my alley. One layer, beautiful. After being underwhelmed by mascara since the not-really-that great pink cover girl tube, I knew it was time to find a new love. Comment Reblog Subscribe Subscribed.
