We were so excited to hear of yet another opening in Southsea, especially during these uncertain times where many businesses are struggling.

Cafe Fresco is serving up great coffee and food by Canoe Lake in Southsea. Pick up some lunch from the cafe and enjoy watching people on the pedalo swans on the boating lake! This cafe is a wonderful addition to Eastern Parade and is well situated next to the tennis club behind the play area. I always thought this building could be put to better use and now it has been. Cafe Fresco really adds to the area, making it such a nicer place to visit.

Went to Southsea for a walk during the nice weather a couple of weeks back and come across a newly renovated cafe was opened offering a refreshingly simple menu that delivered on taste, price, cleanliness positioned well by the tennis courts. I had a coffee I'm yet to have any other food in terms of breakfast or lunch but I will make sure to return and try as there was an emphasis on home made, quality ingredients which stands out from the other outlets nearby - even across Southsea as a whole. Have told friend and family, so hopefully there'll visit soon too - a bright future awaits for this little hidden gem!
