Caillou is a Canadian animated children's series. Produced by CINAR later known as Cookie Jar Entertainmentthe series originally premiered as a set of sixty-five, five minute shorts on Teletoon note With it being first show to air on the channel. For it's final season, it moved to Treehouse TV like some other Teletoon-produced preschool shows. The series caillou about a four-year-old boy named Caillou, caillou, learning about the world around him with his friends including Leo, Clementine, caillou Sarahand family with Mommy, caillou, Daddy, his little sister Rosie, and his caillou cat Gilbert.
We develop books that take place first and foremost through the eyes of a child, rather than reflecting reality as seen by adults. Caillou is at a stage in his development when parents are models to be imitated; in his idealized world, his parents are perfect. They contain key elements to the problems adults can experience with their own Caillou. Reflecting her philosophy of respect for the child as a person, she asked children to give her pebbles as a symbolic form of payment for her consultations, thus giving children complete freedom of choice regarding their treatment.
