In the end, Reigns was able to outlast Lesnar in another of their typical hard-hitting matches, though one that didn't live up to the past clashes between the two men. Chad Gable also tries to capitulate, leaping off the top rope in hopes of finishing off Randy, only to be caught by Orton with an RKO out of nowhere for the pin. The post-match toast of the face teams was a nice touch, with Montez Ford inviting Gable Steveson to the ring to toast with them. Their toast was interrupted by Chad Gable, slapping Steveson's cup away. The two amateur wrestlers were given the space of the two face teams to square up in the middle of the ring.

This encounter had originally been advertised as a special edition of Owens' "KO Show" with Austin as the special guest.
