Both the place and the people make the atmosphere intimate — as if a friend had invited you for dinner at his house. Many ingredients are imported directly from Italy and all pasta is handmade by the chef. The dishes are not huge, so you might have some space left for dessert. PastaBar is right at Barbarossaplatz, one of the ugliest squares in the city. The interior at PastaBar is rustic-style, but very cosy with many pictures from Italy and wooden shelves with wine bottles on the wall.
