Hello, I was looking up on search engines but cannot find anything definitive about this. We all know Hive is weak against swords, and if something has a coloured shield arc, void and solar if you hit with the correct same colour, you can take the shield down. But what I would like to know, if hive, scorn, fallen and cabal have different Weaknesses to, solar, void and arc, aswell as Weaknesses to certain types of weapons, like shotgun, Linear Fusion, Fusion, sub machine, machine guns, Swords, handcannons, Sidearms, Sniper Rifles, Rocket Launcher and grenade launchers, and whatever else I have missed. Using matching weapons vs shields simply causes an explosion, and the various races all take normal damage from all weapons. So elemental weapons work the following way: They do bonus damage against shields, if they match the shield in element arc weapon vs arc shield they do even more damage and cause an elemental explosion that not only damages the enemy you are shooting but ones around it. The above gets thrown out the window when playing something with Matchgame on. Then the only effective way to deal with shields is to match elemental damage to shield type.
