Faline is one of the two deuteragonists alongside Thumper of Disney's 5th full-length animated feature film Bambi and a supporting character in its midquel Bambi II. She is the daughter of Ena, both Bambi 's love interest later wife, the daughter-in-law of Bambi's Mother and the Great Prince of the Forest and the mother of Geno and Gurri. In the first film, she was voiced by the late Cammie King as a fawn and the late Ann Gillis as a young adult, whilst in the midquel, she was voiced by Andrea Bowen. As a fawn, Faline has light brown fur with orangy-brown fur on top of her and head and down her back, blue eyes and white spots. In Bambi 2 , She has darkier colouring.

She always took care to watch out for him, to be patient with him and to even play with him. When she is shot by Man, Bambi sobs over her death, knowing he will miss his mother but that she will always love him, and remember her love for him. In a dream he has, Bambi is reunited with his mother, who reassures him that she will always be with him, even if she is not seen.
