Classes are the archetypes representing the heroes you control during the game of Gloomhaven. Rather than representing an individual person, classes are more akin to "jobs" or "archetypes", so multiple of each class may exist in the world of Gloomhaven. At the start of the game, only that games' and its expansions' Starting Classes are unlocked; other classes must be unlocked by completing Personal Quests or accomplishing other objectives that unlock them. Classes each have unique hand sizes, health, perks, and cards. Unlocking locked classes unlocks events listed on their character mat. Retiring any character unlocks events, also listed on the character mat. As a class levels, you must select one of the two level up cards of the newly gained level, or pick an unselected card from a prior level.
Gloomhaven classes
Gloomhaven , a popular table-top game, has recently been released in a digital version. Similar to the style of Dungeons and Dragons , there are classes that players can choose from that all play differently. Though Gloomhaven contains 17 mercenaries to choose from, there are a total of 6 starting classes. Some enjoy running in, taking hits, and slashing away while others enjoy a more tactical or magical approach. So, it is imperative to choose a class that the player will personally enjoy. There are six total starting character classes players can choose from in Gloomhaven :. Scoundrel: Much like a rogue or a ninja, the Scoundrel is best at sneaking and dealing surprise damage. The cards for this class encourage getting in close, doing chip damage, and then getting out by emphasizing dodging and speed as priority statistics. This is a good class for players who are more interested in looting than in fighting. Spellweaver: The Spellweaver can be summed up in two words: glass cannon. While this class can provide a party with some necessary healing and also do quite a bit of damage in battle, it cannot tank hits at all. This is a class for players who like to stay out of the main fight while providing great assistance. But if a player knows the magical mechanics, this class can be incredibly powerful when used tactically.
You can step in and use your melee abilities and defend your allies occasionally. The Cragheart is one of the slower characters. It is designed to be detailed enough to help players select a character they are confident they will gloomhaven classes while being high level enough to not spoil your higher level cards, strategies or overall strength of that character in the meta, gloomhaven classes.
