Alright, so Goku is stated to weigh in at lbs but we all know that Akira Toriyama hasn't been taking his meds for a few years. How heavy would you say Goku is if you had to guess? He is 5'9" and extremely muscular. Even his height is questionable. I'm 5'9 and I don't tower over people like Goku does in his universe, then again lots of people in dbz are short. The Japanese are so weird with their weight estimations. The same thing happens in Street Fighter, big macho muscleman Ryu is not pounds.

I'm here to play Devil's Advocate for why Goku's allegedly official stats are most certainly possible. I will have answers for other factors at the end. One thing I'll note here that I reiterate later is that I was certain goku was 5'6" and I may make reference to this. I will use metric from here on out for the most part. The fact is, it's because I'm usually trying to challenge the strongest warriors I can find. That's how this tournament happened, too. Even Toriyama admits that it would have been useful having Daizenshuu 7 while writing the manga to keep the characters more consistent. Goku vs Gohan. Yes while its true that muscle weighs more than fat, you can't put on any more muscle than which you are born with. I always pictured him at least a bit taller, probably 6 feet. It doesn't matter if you call yourself muscular, if your weight and bmi are higher than what they are supposed to be for your height then that means you are fat. Team Fortress. Definitely this, Vegeta during Saiyan and Namek sagas is closer to Krillins height than Goku's, but by Buu's arc he grew like 3 or 4 inches :S. Muscle and fat differ in volume. Actually the whole muscle weighs more than fat thing is a myth.
