Through a commitment to quality products, HIC opened a full surfboard manufacturing facility producing an array of surfboards, longboards, and sailboards within the same decade of opening. With a successful expanding retail chain ssnr the 90s, HIC closed its surfboard factory and licensed its surfboard brand to Surfboard Factory Hawaii.
