Thanos already beat both of them with this gear. This time, they don't even have Worthy Cap to even things up more they still lost in the end.
While I have enjoyed reading Marvel comics for as long as I can remember, I have loved the Marvel Cinematic Universe films that brought together Captain America, Thor, and Iron Man to ultimately battle two temporal versions of Thanos with the gravitas and realism of live-action, moving pictures. I built this MOC to capture the essence of the End Game battle but not as an accurate rendition of the beginning of that fight. Instead, I wanted to depict the essence of the confrontation akin to a movie poster or comic book cover. I positioned the heroes in a sweeping action with the villain facing them from the corner. The configuration implied action and energy.

Avengers: Endgame proved that Steve Rogers was worthy of Thor's hammer, and that it wasn't just his strength that helped him lift Mjolnir. But what about his own brute physical strength when it comes to facing off against Thanos in Infinity War? Though the Avengers couldn't stop Thanos from snapping his fingers, Steve did a pretty good job of holding the Mad Titan back with just his bare hands. For awhile now, fans have been asking and speculating what that all means. One of the Avengers: Endgame writers has decided to open up about that scene in particular, and how it relates back to Captain America, Thor and Iron Man battling Thanos in the big climax. Many believed that Steve, super soldier that he is, shouldn't have the strength to keep Thanos at bay for that long. Especially when the bad guy was wielding the Power Stone in the Infinity glove. Was it Steve's sheer willpower? Was Thanos genuinely afraid of the shield wielding superhero? Co-writer Christopher Markus says this about the iconic moment from Avengers: Infinity War , explaining that Steve, in that moment, wasn't exactly calling upon his 'worthiness'. He's like, 'I can't believe this guy who apparently has no powers is trying this. So Thanos really wasn't giving it his all in that particular moment. Will Christopher Markus' comments be enough to quell all the fan theories and speculation? Perhaps not, as the directors and writers have been disagreeing on some of Endgame's finer points and sometimes they don't all agree on what is happening in the movie. At the end of the day, Captain America was calling upon his strength and courage to push back on Thanos, and that gave our villain a moment of pause.
The Avengers: Endgame trailer shows Tony, floating through space, send a goodbye message to Pepper. SB was enough to disarm Thanos of his sword.
Warning: This post contains spoilers for Avengers: Infinity War. You expected superheroes to die in Avengers: Infinity War. The Russo brothers, who directed both films, let audiences know early on in Infinity War that no character was safe: fan favorite Loki is killed off in the first few minutes. Other characters met an ugly fate at the hands of Thanos and his minions, including Gamora more on that later. Thanos fulfilled his plan to destroy half of all life in the universe, and with the snap of his fingers, people began to disintegrate. But are they really gone?

The Battle of Earth [2] [3] was the ultimate battle for the fate of the planet and the entire universe, fought among the Avengers and their allies united against alternate timeline versions of Thanos , the Black Order , and their full arsenal of Chitauri , Sakaaran and Outrider armies. To date, it is the largest extraterrestrial battle in Earth's history. The battle took place in and around the demolished ruins of the Avengers Compound in New York , shortly after it was destroyed by Thanos' flagship, the Sanctuary II. The Avengers, united under the banner of Captain America , rallied their own defences in the united Wakandan forces , the Masters of the Mystic Arts , the Ravagers , the Asgardians , and the Guardians of the Galaxy , both sides then collided to a head in a massive assault, fighting for possession of the Infinity Stones. Many casualties from both battlefronts resulted from the battle. With both sides vying for supremacy, the tide turned in favor of the Avengers when Captain Marvel arrived and used her cosmic powers to destroy the Sanctuary II , which had pinned down the Avengers until that point and gave Thanos the tactical advantage. The battle came to a decisive close when Iron Man sacrificed his life to activate the Nano Gauntlet , wiping out Thanos and his armies, effectively avenging the resurrected trillions who previously perished in the Snap , and ending Thanos' war on Earth.

Remember neither Hulk or Cull lost due to combat one was with context due to Wanda's hax and the other was bfrd and dragged across a forcefield that could tank massive ships from re-entry and the gauntlet exploded with him on it. And who better to finally kill the villain in the end? The configuration implied action and energy. Theres more than that actually with Hulkbuster holding him down once or twice throughout the fight. The same way Pre-Ragnarok Thor can't use his full power without wielding Mjolnir - I don't think Cap can nor demonstrated the feats to do so without an active wield on. His allies and friends can always help him out and stand by his side in a battle. Plus, Black Panther broke every record at the box office , and Disney is eager to make a sequel. Cap already demonstrated that using lightning to blast Thanos from a distance is an effective strategy, and if Thor does that here he can do at least as well as Cap did, if not better given that he has a lethal weapon capable of finishing Thanos off. New posters released by Marvel in March confirmed what we already knew. Thanos is the only one here who did not perform worse when angry. Only Rocket remains. I personally dont think the HB can beat Hulk or Cull for the majority without heavy context like AoU where he won due to circumstance and Wandas hax more than combat itself. But if he actually utilises his lightning in the way Cap did, then he stands a decent chance. Was it Steve's sheer willpower?
The Avengers and their allies must be willing to sacrifice all in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before his blitz of devastation and ruin puts an end to the universe. Rocket Raccoon : This is Thanos we're talking about.
You're making it sound like Thor never uses his lightning, when it's actually one of his most frequently utilised abilities. But a recent poster confirmed that he did survive the culling. Thanos might be stronger and have the Infinity Gauntlet, but the heroes have taken it from him before and they could do it again. Captain America has fought many villains during his long life as a superhero and even though he won most of the time, there were a few enemies that proved too much even for him, for example, Thanos. One of the Avengers: Endgame writers has decided to open up about that scene in particular, and how it relates back to Captain America, Thor and Iron Man battling Thanos in the big climax. Thanos fulfilled his plan to destroy half of all life in the universe, and with the snap of his fingers, people began to disintegrate. Well it seems fair but in reality AoU hulk did got a strenght boost after the spit so Hulkbuster with repairs can definitely hurt and hold his own or win aganist hulk. It was a very close call and the fight didn't go without shedding blood, but in the end, Captain America is the winner. Despite these occasional setbacks, the shield works as an excellent weapon, knocks down multiple opponents, and then returns when it belongs, to Captain's hands. Rocket and Nebula: Of the original Guardians crew, only Rocket survives. She may try to save him. We learn that the new, extremely powerful hero survived the culling in the Captain Marvel post-credits scene. Also there is the whole hits and context between this fight, if we count hulk was extremly raged and mind controlled. Did she run out to get chips and guac on an escape pod and miss the whole fight?
Magnificent idea
