Travel 'chaos' has erupted on the London Underground parts as part of the network has been suspended. Jubilee line trains between North Greenwich and London Bridge are unable to run due to a signal failure at Canary Wharf.

There were major tube and rail delays this morning October 27 due to a police incident. On the Jubilee line, this meant there was earlier no service between West Hampstead and Wembley Park and minor delays on the rest of the line. On the Metropolitan line, there was no service between Wembley Park and Aldgate and minor delays on the rest of the line. Once service was restored, there were still severe delays for many hours. This has since reopened.

Canary Wharf experienced a fire alert this Monday, February Some commuters allegedly saw 'smoke' filling the air at two nearby stations as rushed commuters hurry to change trains. However, TfL has said there were no reports of smoke at London Bridge and Canada Water stations and told MyLondon that the alarm went off 'due to fault with the fire alarm system and not any detection equipment being activated'. The cause was a 'drop in water pressure', which triggered the alarm system to activate. Canary Wharf was closed through rush hour and the Jubilee line faced severe delays while fire services responded to the incident.
