Much to the surprise of the fans, there was no time for mourning the death of Gojo at all, which is a decision that did not sit well with many fans. Instead, the series immediately went into another battle on the back of the previous one. This time, it was Kashimo who jumped in to fight Sukuna and that is exactly what Jujutsu Kaisen chapter focused on. Along with that, there were a lot of interesting twists and turns in the fight, with the chapter finally ending on a massive shock, that was the return of Sukuna at full power after a millennium. Immediately as the chapter began, there was no time to waste on lingering thoughts and emotions on the death of Gojo. In fact, fans did not even get to see the reaction of Gojo's very own students, who just had to experience this horrific death right in front of themselves and were helpless about it. It was a very weird decision by the author, however, it was one that he felt he needed to take in order to further the story even faster.
