The latest character led, gastronomic destination at Fairmont The Palm is Little Miss India and central to the story is the eclectic and extravagant 'Mistress' of the mansion Little Miss India herself, otherwise known as the fictional character Mohini Singh, who takes diners on a unique journey through her worldly travels, amazing achievements and an eccentric menu in her very own home. This quirky concept fuses a vibrant restaurant, lounge bar to tell a personal story, allowing guests to explore the incredible quality, history and diversity of Indian cuisine. Located in Fairmont The Palm, diners are taken on a gastronomic journey by executive chef Anup Pawar, an Indian native with over a decade's experience in curating menus that show-off traditional Indian cuisine. Classic Indian kebabs are found on the menu with a variety of chargrilled meats and vegetables available to guests. Lamb is paired with mint and Indian spices, while chicken is marinated in Kashmiri chillies, yoghurt, cumin and kasoori methi. Vegetarians have a variety of kebab options, with one vegan dish of potaties stuffed with cashews, raisins and spices. The traditional Indian curry takes centre stage on the menu with sections for chicken, lamb, vegetarian, seafood and lentil curries, meaning diners are certainly spoilt for choice. From a simple chicken tikka masala, to 8-hour slow cooked lamb curries and spicy shrimp goan curry - Little Miss India fulfils her mission of taking her diners on a journey. The travelling does not stop for vegetarians with cottage cheese dumplings, stir-fried cauliflower and masala-spiced mixed vegetables, just some of the options available. The cottage cheese dumplings make a reappearance in the dessert menu as they are transformed into a sweet dish with condensed milk.
