Mark's Place opened for business in New Philadelphia in Mark was nineteen years old and new to town. With little experience and no clients, the opening year was tough. Having less than six months experience in other salons in Columbus and Coshocton, Mark had to make things up as things came along. In a few years Mark's Place had expanded to three locations.
