The death of someone we care about can be one of the most difficult experiences in life.
It is with a deep sense of sorrow and loss that our family announces the passing of our mother, grandmother, wife, sister, aunt and daughter Gail Elizabeth VanSickle Eskritt at home on Saturday February 3, We held her hand and told her how much she meant to each of us, how much we loved her and how much we will miss her, because we did and we will. Gail was diagnosed with breast cancer seven years ago. She underwent every chemo and radiation treatment that she could so she could get better. Gail did almost that, but on March 1, she found out that the cancer had returned and she was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer.

Chris worked in the pizza profession all of his life in Woodstock, Chatham and Blenheim. Throughout his life, Chris had to overcome many of life's hurdles: one after another. Life was constantly a battlefield within himself, between his big soft heart and his overly active mind. His need was to be understood. Though he seemed to struggle a lot, Chris Brown was a fighter. His strong heart desired to help others, friends, acquaintances and especially the unfortunate souls. In doing this, it brought him fulfillment and was his contribution to life.
