Buttercup has short black hair in a flip with a small triangular part on her forehead. She has light green eyes, and dresses in light green. She is the group's tough one and is easily enraged, sometimes this, and her aggression gets the better of her, making her a little reckless and stubborn. She has no special abilities but she posseses a violent and mean streak not displayed by her sisters. Her personality ingredient is spice and her signature color is light green. Her moveset is loosely based off of the original series with some custom features sprinkled in. Buttercup is designed as a six button character, although she normally only uses 4 of the six buttons. Staying true to the original character, many of her attacks are focused on a fairly aggressive playstyle, as she contains many moves designed to either keep away or knock back her opponent. However, She does not have many options to handle enemies that are right in front of her, so if the opponent manages to corner her and put pressure on her, she will have a difficult time defending herself. Buttercup's comboability is very limited. None of her moves are able to combo into each other properly, with most of her combo chains coming from her multi hitting supers.
