If it's the latter, how do you do it? Showing 1 - 4 of 4 comments. It depends if you have the game set to Spend or Save on the Economy slider and auto-build or manual economy settings. In auto mode, the game will pump out randomly selected units not always helpful. Retrain a unit to rebuild it in a recruitment centre for that type. You can also merge units by drop and drag into other unit cards of same type too to consolidate existing units. If you do this right you can also build more experienced units by merging experience or transferring men from from a more seasoned unit into a less experienced one. You can also build mercenaries when on the march, if they are available to your leaders.
