While almost correct, this leaves out at least one significant detail, M'gann's true form is that of a White Martian, creatures believed to live only for war and conquest.

Due to this prejudice against White Martian when she moved to Earth she told everyone that she came across that her parents had sent her to the Vega system during the War on Mars , and that having heard of another green Martian, that she came to Earth to find him. As the character evolves she struggles to incorporate an aspect of humanity much as her older counterpart often has a well. As she seeks out the companionship of her teammates she sometimes finds it easier to relate to humans and sometimes harder. Following the events of Infinite Crisis several series were revamped and given a new look and in the case of team books, several new characters were introduced. In this initial period of the time, she did not last long as a member as she struggled to maintain her heroic career while also learning to act more human.
As the forces of evil began to prey on young metahumans teens with powersmiss martian, several members of the Justice League and its affiliates decided to play the game on their enemies' level. She was even willing to go so far as attempting to erase Superboy's memories over their arguments regarding the use of her powers, an act which ultimately lead to their break up. This changed after she did the procedure on Aqualad ; still hating him for Artemis's murder, she used her mindblast on him, ruthlessly extracting all information from him.
M'gann M'orzz was born a White Martian from Mars , but she was raised by the the Keep , a repository of all Martian culture and knowledge hidden away in a vault on Thanagar Prime , the hidden redoubt-world of the Thanagarians. Eventually, she arrived on Earth and encountered fellow Martian survivor J'onn J'onzz , who took her in as an adoptive niece. In turn, M'gann took a form resembling that of a Green Martian and an Earth-inspired outfit resembling a younger, feminine counterpart of her mentor, becoming the Super-heroine Miss Martian. When Tim Drake was assembling a new team of Teen Titans soon after the Flashpoint mistakenly under the impression that it was a brand new team, one he had never been part of before , M'gann was among his potential candidates.
