Modern is the Constructed format for the current Regional Championship Qualifier RCQ cycle, and recent large events have provided a lot of data to sink out teeth into. In today's article, I will analyze the results, show how to beat the most popular deck, and walk you through the top 15 archetypes in the current Modern metagame. Modern is a nonrotating format based on expansion sets, core sets, and straight-to-Modern sets from Eight Edition forward, save for cards on the ban list. The September Modern metagame is a lot of decks you should recognize and expect, but the format is the most balanced we've seen it in a while. Even deep into Tier 3 we're talking about decks I would strongly consider for upcoming events, and Dominaria United's first results promise some shake-ups in the near future.
