Nexus mods oblivion

I want to download some mods for nexus mods oblivion since I want to start playing it again, but I'm having problems registering to nexus need to register for larger mod files everytime I try to register I get as far as "registration succesful" and then it says validation email will be sent shortly 10 mins or instantly.

I am looking for the best way to mod oblivion with or through Nexus mod manager, I have modded Skyrim with Nexus mod which seem to be much easier a DL and plug in style. For Oblivion I would mainly like the graphics to be maxed as much as possible. Don't use the nexus mod manager to install all your mods on oblivion. It's only ideal with very few which specifically mention it, and it's alright with some that only require for you to drag and drop. But using the nmm by default will either cause you problems with most other mods or won't install them properly.
