If there's one thing you can count on Siegward doing it's being a ray of sunshine in an otherwise bleak world. No matter what situation he finds himself in, Siegward always has a positive attitude. While it makes for a great character trait, it doesn't really make sense in the world of Dark Souls 3. Sure, the people of Catarina are jubilant and optimistic, but Lothric is a depressing place, pervasively so. There's a cloud of dread that hangs over Lothric that'll wear down even the strongest souls, but there's Siegward wandering around as positive as ever.

Siegward has been an Undead for a long time, he should have known better. Say yes and he will give you the "Emit Force" miracle.
