It's nearly time for this set of poll questions to go live and for you to have your say on some of the rewards from Desert Treasure II - The Fallen Empire. With that in mind, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on some of the feedback we've seen from all of you since the blog's initial release and to make a few tweaks and clarifications. Starting with These recognisable robes certainly evoked some strong feelings and discussions from many of you. When these magical garms first made their way to RuneScape, they sat on the throne of Magic gear as the absolute best-in-slot offering. We said at the start of the blog that we wanted these rewards to sit below Raid-level offerings, such as Ancestral, since they're more reliably obtainable from repeatable, post-quest bosses than they are from Raids.

We've got a couple of updates for you on some small tweaks and quality of life changes based on your initial feedback, plus a clarification of how the vestige drops work for each of the bosses. We've seen a whole lot of speculation about exactly what's going on with these, so we'd like to provide some extra clarity on things. Rat Bone weaponry can now be used against dummies in the Player Owned House. This is now fixed.
Old School's most ambitious quest to date is fast approaching.
You still have the option to focus on one boss if that's your thing, but we wanted to make sure that if you were going for each of the respective rings, you'd eventually get Virtus passively along the way. Ketla and her clones were not doing the right amount of damage, this has been changed so they are closer to what we had intended. There are nine Combat Achievements per boss, for a total of The leeches in the Persten wight fight will now always target the player. Whisperer Master: Kill the Whisperer 50 times. Check out the blood dripping look below! Unconventional: Kill the Leviathan using only Mithril ammunition while having no more than 25 Hitpoints throughout the entire fight. Additionally, we received reports that some of the locked gates throughout the prison were difficult to discern for players with various forms of colourblindness, so we've renamed the gates to reflect their associated gem key. Now you can take on Vardorvis, the Whisperer, the Leviathan, and Duke Sucellus against the clock, or test your durability by achieving perfect kills and limited gear runs. You still have the option to focus on one boss if that's your thing, but we wanted to make sure that if you were going for each of the respective rings, you'd eventually get Virtus passively along the way We did toy with the idea of having just one boss drop the whole Virtus set at a more common rate, which could have made target farming the set much easier. We'd much rather avoid a situation where too many uniques are entering the game vs not enough. A chest has been added to Kasonde's hideout in the Stranglewood.
