Polaris belt chart
Hunterworks and Polaris Belt Dimension Info. Hunterworks is working with an belt manufacturer who will remain nameless on our own belts. I have been talking with engineering extensively on this subject as we prepared to manufacture our own belts. We have tested in the dunes in Calf. We even bought a new 18 RZR test in house on, we have a Ranger too here. A more detailed dimension article with pics can be found by clicking HERE. Polaris uses 5 different belts for the models listed below, until recently we covered them in just two, why? Truth is Polaris could run the XP belt on them all but it costs more since it is thicker so they save money by making thinner belts for some models over some then oddly they spit out a thicker one for a model it does not need just because. Hunterworks uses just three belts to cover all through non turbo vehicles whether RZR or Ranger and none of our dimensions are like Polaris as we have the ability to manipulate these belts to accomplish something that the OE can't or won't do. We could call these custom made because they are to make the vehicle do what we want or fix something the OE belt does. We now have three belts instead of 2 to cover all the non turbo vehicles, for a deeper explanation on any of the three there are You Tube Videos about all three belts on our You Tube Channel. The new 92G is one layer thinner than our STD belt was aimed at the General to give a thicker belt than stock and no noise, makes a great choice for the other models listed above too, the video on it explains it best. However even though our one layer thicker STD belt works just fine and grips really well, on some you get a low speed squeal from the secondary and this belt fixes it or nearly eliminates it. We have manipulated top and bottom cog designs, added a tough binding agent for the top cogs and put in what we call Quiet Technology to make it run a tad lower in the secondary at start off to help reduced the low speed noise from the secondary that some have. The older one had a quiet secondary so we want a thicker belt which we think is better and it will not make it make any noise.
