Excalibur Prime is a Founder Exclusive item fromand cannot be obtained anymore in any way shape or form. DE gets its artists and design a really cool, badass new look for Excalibur Prime, this new skin is then given to Founders. You give the Founders Excalibur Prime some bonuses, maybe a set bonus, ie equipping the Founder Excalibur Prime with Prime weapons gives it a stat boost, maybe a weak built in Life Strike to their melee weapon without the Channeling Efficiency drop, increased movement speed, innate punch through, whatever.

I see no reason why it cant end well, I'm simply wondering why another "prime" Excalibur cant be available for the rest of us, no flaming here whatsoever on my part at-least. Also I respect to the founders. I'ts just the inability to get it because you happened to find out about the game a little too late, and as much as i can respect exclusivity for the founders that did save this great game, I'm just annoyed by the fact that all the best gear generally speaking are titled "prime" and that no matter how hard you try, if you're not a founder, you cant "catch em all" shall we say. My only issue is the name in all honesty, as insignificant as most may see it, i just cant see why they perhaps couldn't put the word "prime" in there in all honesty, maybe even switch it around to "prime Excalibur" i know i will be happy with that.
