I originally reviewed this back in but after a few hundred rounds with it, my opinions have somewhat changed. Glocks provide a straightforward and very robust series of handguns that dominate psa dagger market.
Updated: Jul 27, Everyone got excited - then nothing happened. Well - a lot happened. COVID happened. A run on guns happened as all time high NICS checks happened month after month. This lead to a shortage in Glock parts as everyone tried to stock up. The website couldn't handle all the traffic and myself and many others were unsuccessful at getting PSA just to "take my money" Then the Dagger went silent.

An entire industry has sprung up to produce Glock clones, or Glock-like pistols that embody what many shooters want a Glock to be. Many of these are tricked-out, flashy pistols, and they usually cost a bit more than the stock OEM Glocks. The cost of optimized slide profiles, optics cuts, improved sights, and other parts adds up. The exception to that, at least at first glance, is the PSA Dagger. Does it live up to the hype? However, many shooters want more. Several companies have seen an opportunity to build and sell pistols that take what everyone likes about Glocks, and infuse common upgrades into an out-of-the-box, ready-made product. These pistols usually include sleek slide profiling and cocking serrations, varying iron sight and optic options, frames and grips with better ergonomics and textures, as well as different coating options. It seems a little too cheap, to be blunt. I hoped to hell that this pistol would run.
The DLC finish is nice, and the front and rear slide serrations are another nice add-on.
As usual, I had a ton of fun, met interesting new people, and of course spent a lot of money turning gunpowder into noise and murdered paper. Black Lagoon is a reader-supported publication. To receive new posts and support my work, consider becoming a free or paid subscriber. Most of the ammo used was Wolf steel cased 9mm gr, with some brass Magtech gr and some Federal HST gr hollowpoints. And to be completely honest, this was pretty much exactly what I was expecting. The Glock 19 is pretty much what made Glock the standard for reliable concealed carry pistols, so a clone of it could be reasonably expected to be Dead Nuts Reliable too.

Glocks provide a straightforward and very robust series of handguns that dominate the market. In fact, you can create a Glock without using any actual Glock parts. The Dagger works with standard Glock parts and pieces and is compatible with Glock Gen 3 parts. Just like the Gen 3, it also has slide rails that help the slide move back and forth smoothly. Palmetto State Armory is well known for its low prices, and the Dagger is priced to move. The base model sells for dollars, which, in my opinion, is a very reasonable price. Regardless, they are a good deal cheaper than Glock brand Glocks and promise the same simplicity and reliability as the Glock pistols.

I like this gun. It still has a bit of a hump on the back of the grip, but the grip angle is a bit more vertical than the stock G19—the forward-pitched grip angle is a common gripe about the Austrian pistols. Even at 50 yards in an unsupported position, I rang steel over and over. B Value For less than bucks, the Dagger gives you a reliable, easy-to-shoot, accurate, and feature-filled handgun. Gun Deals. In hand - it's my favorite aftermarket Glock frame I have yet to try. What is a PSA dagger comparable to? The grip seems to be a little longer than the standard Glock 19 grip. With the wide variety of firearms and brands available, finding the perfect weapon to meet your needs and standards can be challenging.
They have micro, compact and full size options. The slide lock is standard Glock, and my thumbs almost always pin it down and render it useless. Trigger upgrades are common. That makes it more difficult to shoot quickly and accurately than a stock G19—mine measures 6 pounds, 7 ounces. The trigger, while still the shortcoming of this pistol, did not decrease my performance as much as I was expecting. This is fine or even optimal for someone with medium sized hands like me, but if you have larger mitts, this might be a deal breaker for you. Gun Deals. No votes so far! Then once you have more money, you can still use those accessories once you graduate to a True Blue Glock, should you decide to remain in that ecosystem. The slide is billed as having "carry cuts" - which is code for meaning it's trigger topped and the rear corners are de-horned - possibly to reduce the snag of your garment on an inside-the-waistband draw on your shirt. I did not have any 40 round Extendo Clips to test, so my bad on that one. Luckily, what you get is a pretty comfy little gun. I fired it weak-hand-only, with two hands, and supported on a bagged tripod for accuracy. These pistols usually include sleek slide profiling and cocking serrations, varying iron sight and optic options, frames and grips with better ergonomics and textures, as well as different coating options. For iron sight shooting it is THE combination to generate the best results.
