This AI deck allows players to experience the thrill of playing against an AI-controlled opponent, making Armada accessible even when no human opponents are available. In this article, we'll dive deep into the mechanics of the AI deck, discussing how it works, how to customize it for different gameplay experiences, and how to set up and deploy AI-controlled fleets. The Armada AI Deck is a unique deck of cards designed to simulate the decision-making processes of a human opponent in Star Wars: Armada. It provides players with all the instructions needed to set up and control their AI opponent, making the game enjoyable and challenging even when playing solo. The deck consists of 12 cards, each providing specific commands and actions for the AI-controlled ships. These commands dictate the ship's movements, attack priorities, defense token usage, and squadron strategies. Let's break down how it works step by step:. The player's fleet will follow standard gameplay rules, while the AI fleet will be controlled through the AI deck. The AI deck includes various command options, such as concentrate fire, navigate, squadron, and engineering. The AI deck will always prioritize using the most recent command if multiple commands are available. The AI deck provides movement priorities that guide the ship's actions.

Hi everyone! I'm proud to unveil the Solo Mode for Armada that I've been working on. It's a series of cards that create a deck which will drive the AI of an opponent, so you can play solo. All you need is a printer and some scissors, print it out, cut out the cards, and pair them up with some sleeved cards to create a deck I recommend giving the AI player a handicap, perhaps an extra 50 points to make up for the fact that some of their choices will not always be smart for the AI. The PDF and rules are available on my website here:. I'd love to hear what you think! Hopefully it'll help those of you who have that itch to play but sometimes have trouble finding an opponent.

It will determine which command the AI has selected. It will determine which Defense token the AI uses. It will determine both attack priority, and movement priority. Setup: When building forces, it is best to give the AI a 50 point handicap, so vs for example , but this is up to the player. It is a sliding scale of difficulty, so a more experienced player could play against a higher handicap or even make forces even, if a player is newer. The Human player will always be 1st player.

Create and customize AI influencers with ease. The only rule I didn't really like was the one that prevents the AI from using more than one defensive token on a given attack. Gemini AI. To decide which, simply reveal cards from the top of the deck until you reveal a card with a defense token that the defender has. The thematic set-up had the bulk of my fleet and the AI's Star Destroyers in opposite corners. Aviso AI. Then choose the one that makes more sense to the AI ship in question. The Golden Rule — The entire project is meant to be fun. I felt that the AI's movement worked well for ships that like to engage head-on, like Star Destroyers, but was weak for ships that prefer flanking shots, like the Arquitens or, I imagine, the MC Crabbok Updated on Feb 26, facebook Twitter linkedin pinterest reddit.
