Trunks and gohan

One of the many fusion characters to appear in Dragon Ball Heroes is one that fans have wanted to see for decades: the combination of Gohan and Trunksalso known as Gohank s.

Originally airing in Japan on February 24, , between episodes and , the special is based on an extra chapter of the manga series. In an alternate timeline , Goku succumbs to a viral heart disease. Goku's death, being the result of natural causes, means that he can no longer be revived with the Dragon Balls. With the death of Piccolo, Earth's guardian, Kami , dies as well and the Dragon Balls are permanently rendered unusable, making it impossible for anyone to be revived. Thirteen years later, most of humanity has been killed by the Androids who routinely terrorize the planet, while Gohan , the sole survivor of the battle, repeatedly fails to defeat them despite having achieved the Super Saiyan transformation. He decides to train Trunks, the adolescent son of Vegeta and Bulma , who struggles to become a Super Saiyan.

Boards Dragon Ball - General How come future trunk didn't hang out a lot with gohan? There is one thing I don't get, how come future trunks didn't spend time talking or hanging out with gohan in the android saga? I mean wasn't future gohan future trunks best friend and trainer, so it is weird that future trunks didn't talk a lot or hang out with present gohan. He was too caught up with trying to get his fathers approval and training. Maybe he's Jake Skywalker, he's not my Luke Skywalker. Its too bad that future trunks didn't stay in the past until the android saga, I wonder how it would of turn out if future trunks trained with goku, gohan and piccolo. In my opinion future trunks acted like he didn't know gohan as a kid, even though it was future gohan who trained trunks and was his best friend. He wasn't old enough to drink.

Future Trunks never returned in Dragon Ball Z , but the events of Dragon Ball Super revisited the character and revealed what happened to him through flashbacks. It was explained that with the power Trunks acquired from fighting and training alongside the Z-Warriors, he finally accomplished what he could never before and managed to kill both Androids 17 and After that, Trunks became the self-appointed protector of the Earth. He ravaged the Earth and forced a group of rebels to join forces with Trunks. While with them, Trunks forced a close friendship with an adult Mai, a former member of the Pilaf Gang.

The reunion is happening over in the Dragon Ball Heroes promo anime's latest episode, the Space-Time Tournament hosted by the former Supreme Kai of Time kicks off, with Goku and the Universe 7 team quickly thrown into some pretty intense matchups with variant versions of villains from their past — including an evil Piccolo! However, the matchup that fans are really buzzing about is Future Trunks taking on the mysterious Hooded Saiyan — who we knew all along was an alternate Future Gohan! Gero's Androids 17 and 18 , and lost everything he held dear. Future Gohan shows Future Trunks exactly what kind of strength he's achieved since then, firing up with a bonfire level Super Saiyan aura. When it comes to the final showdown Gohan's Kamehameha vs. Trunks' Masenko blast , Future Trunks emerges as the winner. Still, Trunks has to acknowledge that this version of Gohan is stronger than the teacher he once had. Gohan is having a major resurgence in Dragon Ball right now — and really, we're all the better for it.

The two quickly head toward the park to battle the androids. However, he is quickly overwhelmed so he and Trunks hide among the ruins of the city in order to devise a plan. Later while talking with the Future Warrior, Old Kai , and Chronoa , a history change occurs within the Scroll of Age and as it is dangerous for Trunks to go into his own history, the Future Warrior is tasked with fixing it alone. Dragon Ball Super episode 52 is another somewhat filler episode as we get to see more about the relationship between Future Trunks and the present version of Gohan. Many fans will know how this is going to play out.
