Sunday, October 30th, AM. I've been trying to have my IP address changed. I've been into a few Xfinity office stores, and turned away as they weren't able to help. And they informed that they couldn't send a message to tech support for me. I've been on the chat message system and have been told that they wouldn't be able to do that for me. I've called into the phone system 10 times and been placed on hold or hungup on. Why is this so hard for a company that set my IP address?

I called Comcast but they just told me to restart the modem. This was supposed to renew the IP address but it did not. Since the tech person could only visit to check the modem next week, I decided to take matters into my own hand and change the IP address on my Comcast.
