We strive to create awareness about the healthcare needs of underprivileged patients and raise funds to provide them with equitable care. By supporting healthcare efforts in Ca idf, IDF is helping to ensure that vulnerable individuals have access to the healthcare they need, ca idf, regardless of financial or other barriers.
Increased national and international focus on enhancing the graduate and postdoctoral experience at academic institutions, as well as providing support in their transition to a wide variety of careers, has led to a widespread interest in better articulating and serving the individual development needs of graduate students and postdoctoral researchers. McGill University has significantly expanded the number and diversity of services and programs that provide individual academic, professional, and personal development opportunities for graduate students and postdocs. More recently, McGill has introduced myPath: a network of tools and programs to help students and postdocs create an annual Individual Development Plan IDP that reflects their academic, professional and personal goals. The McGill Framework Working Group, comprised of experts in student services and development from a variety of McGill units, was established in order to create an individual development framework that will unify these tools and offerings across the university to provide guidance and recommendations to graduate students and postdocs, while also helping administrators to design, advertise, deliver, and evaluate programming. The Framework Working Group analyzed well-researched frameworks and reports on individual development practices from Canadian and international research, education, government, and corporate organizations. With the goal of adapting this established content into a McGill-specific framework, attributes identified in these documents were compiled, re-defined, and assembled into a cohesive framework of seven themes divided into twenty-one categories of individual development.

Municipal water management in Canada is heavily dependent on the use of Intensity-Duration-Frequency IDF curves for planning, design, and operation of municipal water infrastructure. Many watershed management activities also rely on the use of IDF curves, including those related to water supply, water quality management and flood control. This web-based tool provides an approach for updating IDF curves under a changing climate and is available to anyone interested in developing IDF curves that incorporate projected climate change impacts. While there is a need in almost every Canadian municipality to adapt to changing climatic conditions, there is a lack of necessary expertise within municipalities for implementing current research related to the impact of climatic change on IDF curves Sandink et al, Thus, one of the primary aims of the tool is to standardize the IDF update process and make the results of current research on climate change impacts on IDF curves accessible to everyone Simonovic et al. The developers and supporting agencies believe that a freely available, computerized IDF update tool will aid in the selection of effective climate change adaptation options at the local level, advancing the decision-making capabilities of municipalities, watershed management authorities and other key stakeholders. The tool also provides a direct link between Canadian municipalities and the research community, creating opportunities for further research and innovation. It applies a user-friendly GIS interface and provides precipitation accumulation depths for a variety of return periods 2, 5, 10, 25, 50 and years and durations 5, 10, 15 and 30 minutes and 1, 2, 6, 12 and 24 hours , and allows users to generate IDF curve information based on historical data, as well as future climate conditions that can inform infrastructure decisions. Roughly of these stations have 10 years of data — the minimum time series used by Environment Canada to develop IDF curves for a specific location. Users can also create and share their own rain station information. Version 7.

It is second largest bank in France, after BNP Paribas , as well as the third largest in Europe and tenth largest in the world. Local banks of the group owned the regional banks, in turn the regional banks majority owned the S. It is considered to be a systemically important bank by the Financial Stability Board. In the second half of the 19th century, French farmers struggled to obtain long-term, flexible, reasonably-priced credit. The first local banks were set up by local elites, including agronomists, teachers and property owners, with farmers playing a minority role. In the early years, business was made up exclusively of short-term loans provided as advances on harvests, enabling farmers to live more comfortably. Medium-term and long-term loans were added later, making it possible to buy equipment and livestock. The Act did not confer any financial advantages, and the local banks soon faced financial problems, such as a lack of capital and insufficient collateral from small farmers.

The McGill Individual Development Framework can help students to unify their experiences at McGill, including their research project, coursework, and co-curricular activities. The tool also provides a direct link between Canadian municipalities and the research community, creating opportunities for further research and innovation. Every contribution, big or small, goes a long way, indirectly impacting lives and securing a better future for the communities that need it the most. The models were selected based on the availability of projections RCP 2. It also serves as the foundation for all the tools and programming under development for myPath a toolkit to help students create an IDP. This comprehensive, yet succinct, framework is intended to be a flexible model that students and postdocs can use to create a customized Individual Development Plan that reflects the areas they wish to cultivate, and that administrators can use to identify gaps in their offerings as they align their programming with the framework.
