As seen in Confusion Magazine issue It all started after our local skatepark in Premia de Dalt , a small town in the Maresme, got demolished by the council, leaving us with no skateparks with good transition in the entire region. It was an old factory squatted by the local community where they offered free activities and lots of services for whoever needed them. They give us a giant space with a roof, electricity and water, everything you could ask for.. We started building but in less than six months the council kicked everybody out of the factory. Luckily for us at the time they closed the factory, we had already built our first ramp in Caribu. Fortunately, we knew some weeks before that they wanted to kick us out, so we had started looking for good places to build.

And when you think of Alaska, it is hard not to dream of all the big game hunting opportunities there are. You also need to realize that hunting caribou is not often as simple as just driving to a hunting location, getting out, shooting an animal, and packing up again. In some cases, you may even need an outfitter or bush pilot to fly you somewhere truly remote, like we did, for a caribou drop camp. Drop camp hunts involve a pilot literally dropping you off somewhere in the remote wilderness, where it is truly you against the natural world and little if any human influence for miles and miles. Both males and females grow antlers, but only males get the large sweeping semi-circle antlers that they are known for. Bill Molls and his dog, Sport, , with muskrats and mink trapped from the same lakes and ponds where he would teach his grandson, Billy, to trap more than 60 years later. When glassing a herd of caribou, Billy always looks at the whitest animals first. Those are generally the oldest bulls, and make for spectacular mounts. They thrive in some of the most remote, seemingly lifeless areas of Alaska where other species might struggle to survive.
