Press it and also press your go tcha device red circle so they can both see each other and connect. You can have it active during raids and while battling gyms and it will still catch and spin for you. It can be a little bit buggy with connectivity but it just a simple turn on. I give it 4 stars due to the ease of use and how convenient it makes things, how ever the random loss in connection does get a little annoying at times IE. I was at dinner and used 3 lures. And it was working great then about 15 or 20mins in it disconnected without me noticing, it was at this point I decided to turn on vibrate other than that this item has been great!

We really like both of the previous Go-tcha devices, but with one huge caveat — both of our review units completely failed after a few months we actually had two of the original Go-tcha units die on us.
